Queensland Art Gallery Light Poles

The Queensland Art Gallery sits in a beautiful brutalist concrete building on the banks of the Brisbane River. Designed by Robin Gibson and Partners the gallery was completed in 1982 and added to the Queensland Heritage Register in 2015.

Lining the pathway on the riverside of the building are black light posts. Square in shape each is topped with a cubed light shade. Complemented by the geometric lines of the surrounding concrete pathways and clean cut grass, these light posts complement the building well and stand out as a feature in their own right.
